Entering and Exit Procedures

Reminder that masks are REQUIRED for entrance at Big Blue Strength. Upon entering you will be required to wash your hands at the bathrooms right next to the entrance, and grab our cleaning kit before continuing to your rack for your class. PLEASE ARRIVE NO MORE THAN 5 MINUTES PRIOR TO YOUR CLASS TO ALLOW THE MEMBERS AHEAD OF YOU TO FINISH CLEANING AND LEAVE.

IF YOU DO SHOW UP TOO EARLY, YOU WILL BE ASKED TO WAIT OUTSIDE: RAIN OR SHINE.

Parking & Entrance Procedures:

Parking is available in not only our front lot, but along the side of our building and a few spots behind (usually for our coaches). Although, parking can be tight sometimes we do have additional options. Our neighbors, The Ketch (behind us), allow us to use their parking lot before 5pm.  Please do not use this lot for 4:30pm classes or later.  Mornings and up to 4pm are ok!

Additional Parking can be found at our other neighbors at Dixon's Service Station after 5pm or on the neighboring streets, Rambler Ave and Regency Rd.  

Please respect our wonderful neighbors! We are all short on parking even at limited capacity!

 

 

Given our new Government guidelines, Entrance is now through our BACK DOOR!  

Please Ring Doorbell for admittance. Door will remain locked to keep our members safe who may be lifting close to the door.  

Once inside,  get temperature checked, wash hands, then pick up a cleaning kit.  

Your coach will assign you a rack, reformer, or platform. 

Please keep all of your belongings with you. Our cubbies are not longer available. 

Set up your station with all necessary equipment (barbell, head pads, etc).  

Once you are all set up, you may remove your mask to workout.  If you need to move around the facility, please use your mask.  

After cleaning has been complete, please exit through the front door.  Hand sanitizer is available at the front desk. 

 

Tips for coming to class prepared: 

  • Sign up ahead of time
  • Arrive with enough time to put your mask on. 
  • Have your workout pre-written in your journal or at least look at it and get your game plan ready! 
  • Keep your bag organized so you can quickly set up your rack/ station when you arrive. (mats, bands, chalk, belt, straps, etc)
  • Put your shoes on in your car.  (unless it's raining)
  • If you would rather use your 5-10 min inside to do certain warm-ups, you are welcome to start your warm-up outside by your car. 
  • Change your clothes at home/ work.  No changing clothes in the bathroom as we will need to get people in and out to wash hands.  The changing room is still available if you choose to use it.
